Strategic communications agency Novelty Media World has undertaken the communication campaign for this year’s “Let’s do it! Cyprus” environmental initiative, as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The campaign in Cyprus is organized by the Non-Governmental Organization Together Cyprus and serves as the official national branch of the global movement Let’s Do It! World. It represents the largest environmental cleanup initiative globally, active across 212 countries and regions with more than 139 million volunteers worldwide.
This year’s Cleanup Week in Cyprus will take place from October 26 to November 1, 2026, aiming to mobilize thousands of volunteers across the island. The campaign is actively supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, as well as the Commissioner for the Environment and Animal Welfare.
Since 2012, the initiative has built a strong culture of environmental responsibility in Cyprus:
- 350,000+ Volunteers: Over 350,000 citizens have actively participated nationwide.
- Hundreds of annual actions: Cleanup points are organized every year across cities, villages, forests, rivers, and coastal areas.
- Island-wide participation: Active involvement from schools, municipalities, communities, businesses, and civic groups in every district.
- Wide stakeholder synergies: Close collaboration with Municipalities, Ministries, Public Organizations, Schools, Youth Organizations, the Cyprus Police, the Fire Service, the National Guard, and the Cyprus Scouts Association.
Through its CSR framework, Novelty Media World offers its expertise in communication strategy and digital visibility to support the island’s largest volunteer movement.
“Environmental protection and fostering a culture of volunteering concern us all. It is our great pleasure to actively contribute pro bono to the work of Together Cyprus in a campaign that unites society for a shared, green cause,” stated the Novelty Media World team.
